Perforated Face Ceiling Diffuser

The perforated diffuser is the architect's compromise solved: a face of small holes that reads as ceiling, backed by plenum geometry that diffuses like a visible terminal. Low noise, even discharge, and a face that paints with the ceiling: in round, square and rectangular formats.

Common questions

Do perforated diffusers diffuse as well as visible ones?

The face is only the exit; the plenum behind it does the work. A engineered perforated diffuser matches louvered terminals for mixing and noise while visually disappearing: which is why galleries and museums specify them.

Can the face be painted on site?

Yes: faces are supplied paintable, and thin site coats do not measurably affect performance. Avoid heavy coats that close the perforations.
