Deep Pleat HEPA Filter: 0.3 Micron (H13–H14)

A HEPA filter is the last line and the absolute one: ultra-fine glass fibre media in a deep pleat, sealed into an extruded aluminium frame, removing sub-micron particles at 99.95% (H13) to 99.995% (H14) efficiency to EN 1822. Specified where failure is not negotiable: operation theatres, pharma filling lines, biotech cleanrooms.

Common questions

What is the difference between H13 and H14 HEPA filters?

Both are tested to EN 1822 at 0.3 µm: H13 removes 99.95% of particles and H14 removes 99.995%. H14 is specified where the last fraction matters most: pharma filling lines and the highest-grade cleanrooms.

Where are HEPA filters required?

Operation theatres, pharmaceutical and biotech cleanrooms, electronics manufacturing and laboratories: anywhere sub-micron particles cannot reach the process or the patient.

What protects a HEPA filter?

A staged bank in front of it, typically a MERV 8 pleated pre-filter followed by a MERV 13–14 fine or bag filter, so the HEPA spends its life on sub-micron particles, not coarse dust.
